        Frequently Asked Questions

        1.  What is the cost of your services?
Because each project varies in size and services required, quotes are customized. An estate allows expenses to maintain the value of the estate and allows the executor to hire assistance.  There is no cost to an individual as the fee is approved by the executor prior to any costs being incurred.  If the executor is out-of-state, Estate Innovations can greatly reduce the time and expense of traveling back and forth.

If the estate is in the pre-planning phase, the individual does pay; however, there is no more money spent than if one had purchased these services on their own.  Now, you have the ease of Estate Innovations coordinating the process for you.  Because of our volume, we can negotiate better rates on services than you could as an individual.

        2.  How do I know my money is going towards the management of my estate?
Estate innovations will place your retainer in an escrow account and provide a monthly summary of the pre-approved expenses.

        3.  What if I need a lawyer and an accountant?  Do you provide those services?
Estate Innovations does not have these professionals on staff.  We prefer to work with trusted partners and can provide you with recommendations.

        4.  What if I only need a little bit of help?
Because each quote is customized, you may pick and choose which services you need; however, it is beneficial to view our services as a package that can manage blocks of tasks.

        5.  Do I need to outsource these services?
No.  You can certainly do everything on your own.  You can make all the phone calls, interview service providers, and oversee the work, all the while trying to remember what to do next.  By hiring Estate Innovations, all this stress can be removed from your shoulders.  If you live out-of-state, using Estate Innovations alleviates the demands and cost of travelling, as well.

        6.  Is there a checklist?
There most certainly is!  To be successful as an executor, you must take charge no more than 30 days after the death of your loved one.  That begins a nine-month or longer calendar filled with multiple tasks.  With Estate Innovations, there is no reason for you to monitor that checklist.  That is our job!

If you are in the preplanning phase, there are many i's to be dotted and t's to be crossed.  Make that our worry and not yours.
